I had the great privilege of working with the extremely talented and inspiring Maria Uspenski, Founder of The Tea Spot ®, alongside her amazing team of motivated and charismatic staff for three years. Maria was always coming up with innovative ways to enjoy a beautiful cup of whole leaf tea, creating fun and exciting packaging and product design projects to work on.
Through my three years working with The Tea Spot ®, I help develop and foster their philanthropic tea brand, with colorful designs, packaging, and photography. The Tea Spot ® is where I was introduced to packaging design, therefore finding my love for an art form I never thought of getting into.

The goal was to capture the graceful essence of an unfurling jasmine pearl tea leaf.
Jasmine pearls are tea leaves that have been tightly hand-rolled and when introduced to hot water, they unfurl with slow grace. To complement the solid black teapot base, I wanted to convey the unfurling tea leaf through the emphasis of simplicity. The strong, elegant lines lend to an Art Deco influence
