The windswept rabbitbrush prairie of Northern Colorado set the scene for this photoshoot for Smokeshow Studio. I wanted to emphasize the luscious velvet material in contrast to the more arid environment, in turn enhancing the smooth shadows and soft edges of the velvet. Luxury with function.

My friend Camille Thorson was the beautiful model for this shoot, she completely embodied the essence that I was going for.
